Privacy

This site collects little, and says exactly what. Here is what it records when you visit, and what happens when you email us or use the form.

Who we are

zad.com.au is operated by Wolk Technology Pty Ltd ("WOLK", "we"), an Australian company. Zad is our product. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What this website collects

Opting out of analytics

Block cookies or scripts for zad.com.au in your browser, use a content blocker, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same either way, and the contact form does not depend on analytics.

When you email us

If you write to us at info@wolk.com.au, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you tell us. We use it to reply to you and, if you ask us about Zad, to talk to you about Zad. We keep the correspondence for as long as we are dealing with you and for a reasonable time afterwards for our records. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

When you use the contact form

The form on the front page asks for your name, your email address and your message. When you press Send, the page hands them to our mail service, which sends them to info@wolk.com.au as one email with your address as the reply-to. Nothing you type is stored on this site or in our hosting; the only copy is that email, which we then handle as described above. The mail service records that a message was sent, not what it said. The form also has a field that people never see; if something fills it in, we treat the submission as automated and discard it.

Zad customers

When a business becomes a Zad customer, it gets its own Zad. Its facts, drafts and approvals are kept in Australia, in a space that is that business's alone: either hosting we run for it, or the business's own cloud account. They are not pooled with any other customer's, and they do not pass through this website. How we handle information during an engagement, including how the business takes its data with it if it leaves, is set out in the agreement for that engagement.

Overseas disclosure

This website is hosted in Australia. Google processes the analytics data described above on servers outside Australia, including in the United States, under Google's terms. Email we exchange with you passes through our email provider, which may process it outside Australia in the ordinary course of delivering email.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@wolk.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new date. Because the site is built from a public record of changes, every earlier version remains available on request.
